FAITH

My definition:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1)

My goal:

  1. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses ( 1 Timothy 6:12)
  2. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20)

How to be faithful?

  1. Faith is God's gift. Treasure it! - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8)
  2. How to grow in faith? Feed it with Word of God!
- “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” (Matthew 4:4)- So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Roman 10:17)
  1. How to measure our faith? Have a discerning heart! - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you (John 14:26)
